We have the pleasure of owning "The Rectory's Honeytrees Saga" (March 21, 1995) She is a beautiful and delightful companion to our family. I am new at this computer stuff, I wish I could send you a picture of her. She is from the Honky litter, and I see you have a picture of "Honky" on this web site. I assume it is her father! I'll have to get my son over here to help me out and maybe send you a picture of her. I enjoyed touring your web site and will view it again soon. Thanks. Maureen

Hi folks Great site and beautiful bloodhounds. Our family is presently searching for a companion for our red boy Wyatt. We adopted him at 4months after he was abandoned by his first family. I am currently training Wyatt for SAR work and he is doing just fine. He recently celebrated his 3rd birthday. Where in Maine is Farmington? I would love to talk about a future pup. Take care and have a wonderful day Chuck Honsinger

Thank you for including your photo gallery. We see very few bloodhounds here, and there are some conformation questions that are answered more easily by seeing fine specimens than by nitpicking through the breed standard or re-reading "The New Complete Bloodhound". Charles MacDonald

You definately have a beautiful site. I enjoyed my visit. We are newbee's in Bloodhounds but are trying to learn everything we can. We hope to start our own breeding program in the next year or so. Our Stud dog will be Ch Maple Hill's Caesar's Triumph and our bitch will be Pine Hollow's Denim n' Lace (our Caesar and Cleopatra). We do not plan on breeding Cleo until she is a champion too. We hope someday that we can meet you. Ward and Joy Huffine.

Reverend, My husband are interested in obtaining a bloodhound. With our retirement forthcoming at a relatively young age (58&54) and, my husband's involvement as a reserve officer in the Md. Natural Resources Police, we are considering mantrailing training and certification. Our son is presently stationed with the U.S. Navy in Brunswick Maine and we would visit your kennels upon our next trip to Maine in early spring. Additionally do you have any information as I have been unable to find any,on training and certification of these dogs? We would appreciate any information you could give us regarding availibility of puppies in the late winter or spring of 2002. If you would like to call please feel free to call collect. Our number is 410-643-6477. Great Wedsite! Marguerite Bowman 1321 Queen Anne Dr. Chester, Md. 21619

Dear Jackie, I have always been honored to own a Limbo granddaughter. Keeping Rectory in our line is very important to us. We truly believe that Rectory dogs are still the highest quality dogs in the breed. We hope that our Limbo great grandbabies (born 4/11/01) inherit some of the high qualities offered to the breed by the Rectory Kennels. Marcia Goldfarb - Chapel Forge Kennels

What a wonderful and informative website. I have spent the last several years and months researching bloodhounds and the "rectory" is a name of distinction. I have been told that the litter born last year is to be your last litter.. is this true? I am interested in purchasing a show potential bitch puppy and one from your keenels would be a dream come true. If indeed this is your last litter is there any other blood hound breeder that you reccomend. I would appreciate any information that you could offer. Thank you Wendi

Dear Jackie and Sink, Thirty (or so) years ago I was at a dog show in Catonsville, MD. I bred Newfoundlands at the time. And in the distance I saw this woman with a big Bloodhound practicing their gaiting. I thought then that it was a neat looking dog and promptly filed it away in my brain. When my children got older and I decided to get back into dogs, my thoughts went to that long ago Bloodhound. I realize now that it was Damara and a Rectory dog. When I bought my beloved Odin (CH. Cyrano of Legacy), I told Anne about the dog and discovering that it was Rectory. I was thrilled and delighted to see how much Rectory was in Odin's pedigree. My one suggestion is that you get together with a chosen helper and write a book. A book on The Rectory, your vision starting out, how you achieved it, what made you do the breedings that you did, etc. It would be an invaluable tool for us novices who would like to continue in the breed. I thank you for the memory and helping me find my way to my beloved Bloodhounds. I sincerely hope that you and The Rectory thrive and flourish for many years to come.  Excellent, excellent, excellent! What a history. I am honored to have been blessed with meeting the final (so you say) Rectory litter. You nearly brought me to tears the other day when you spoke of it being the final litter and maybe selling the kennel. All of my life, it's been the Sinkinson's place and the Rectory Kennel, I can't imagine it any other way. The website is fabulous and I am awed by the illusterious history behind dogs I know now.
